Annual Gala in the Garden
Event Description:
Step into an enchanted evening at the May Arboretum Society 2026 Gala inspired by The Secret Garden. This year’s gala invites you to rediscover the magic of nature while supporting our community’s living sanctuary. Aligned with the tribute to Rod Haulenbeek and the introduction of the Tree Hunter Collection initiative, the gala will help raise money for the May Arboretum Society Endowment Fund, directly supporting the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden as a whole.
Event Details:
- The night begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres (VIP at 4:30 pm, general at 5 pm) and a live painting performance by local artist Juliette Leong.
- We’ll enjoy a multi‑course dinner at 6 pm, honor Rod “Tree Hunter” Haulenbeek, unveil the Tree Hunter Collection & Legacy Fund, and raise our paddles in exciting live and silent auctions.
Registered guests can join our Discovery Experience starting April 30, following weekly clues through the Wilbur D. May Arboretum for a chance to win a $1,000 getaway!
