Please join us to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Carson City Rural Child Advocacy Center and learn more about the critical work in safety, justice, and healing for Northern Nevada children and families. Light refreshments will be provided alongside remarks from community members and Center leadership.
Assisting children and youth residing in the Northern Rural Counties (Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Humboldt, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey) who are suspected victims of child abuse or exploitation. In a safe and child-friendly space, we offer effective, efficient, and compassionate services and a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach to providing Family Advocacy services, Forensic Interviewing services, and specialized Medical and Mental Health services.
