Travel 24 miles through tunnels, canyons and the Virginia Range aboard a restored 1914 Pullman coach pulled by a 1916 Baldwin steam locomotive. Enjoy a long 3.5-hour stopover in historic Virginia City to explore boardwalks, saloons, museums, shops and mines, and listen to engaging historical facts and anecdotes during the journey. Depending on the day, you might be pulled by a vintage steam engine with its rhythmic chuff or a powerful diesel with its steady hum. The best part? No worrying about who’s driving or where to park. - Depart Carson City (Eastgate Depot) at 10:00 am and travel toward Virginia City.
- Arrive Virginia City (F Street Depot) at 11:30 am with a 3.5-hour stopover to explore.
- Depart Virginia City (F Street Depot) at 3:00 pm to return to Carson City.
- Arrive Carson City (Eastgate Depot) at 4:15 pm.
