Sierra Regional Roller Derby (SRRD) is the first Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) roller derby league in the Reno-Tahoe area. Established in 2013, we are a regional league comprised of members from all over our surrounding communities. We are skater-owned and operated. Our mission is to promote the health and fitness, self-confidence, and empowerment of our members; to create the opportunity for diverse participation in family-friendly roller derby; and to reach out to our community through events, activities, and philanthropy.
Our league consists of four teams; the Sierra All-Stars, our A/B international travel team; Sierra Battle Born, our B/C home and local travel team; the Sierra Scorpions, our junior team; and the Creatures of the Lake/Mountain Maulers, our all-league teams.
