Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary and Nature Center is a safe haven for injured, abandoned and otherwise non-releasable wild animals who act as ambassadors for their species. As a non-profit sanctuary, we provide a loving and permanent home, with top of the line care for wild animals who are otherwise unable to survive in the wild. While the operation has grown over the years in its size, at its core remains the goal of wildlife education and environmental stewardship. Animal Ark is a fully credited ZAA (Zoological Association of America) facility, meaning our animal husbandry standards, staff training and credibility, and operations are up to National regulations and beyond. We proudly stand as the only ZAA accredited facility in the Northern Nevada area.
