I am writing to invite you to the Carson 400 and CHS Future Runners event. Organized by the Carson City Schools Foundation (https://ccschoolsfoundation.org/), this high-profile community event will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Carson High School track. The evening features a 1-mile cross country race for local 4th and 5th graders, followed by the highly anticipated Carson 400—a NASCAR-style race under the lights where students from kindergarten through 12th grade race in cardboard box cars decorated by our sponsors.
